Sweet, I'm in first.
Future Boy's Handblock, then catch for the callahan. Catching the handblock is ridiculous enough, but doing it for a callahan is special. Sweet.
YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THAT HE DID ALL THAT IN JUST HIS BOXERS!!!!
And that he was hanging out of those boxers all the while.
I still loved Kyle's spike. I don't care what anyone else says. I was just happy to see the PVD-Birdflag connection to score on The Jets. Kyle was beaming like a proud papa all-game long.
My highlight remains Brent dancing around with the baby blue whistle around his neck, Ma Bell closely attached. Although Ma's ability to stay within 6 inches of Brent's jugular while both of them were dancing was impressive, simultaneously hitting the trumpet parts of Outkast's "I Like the Way You Move" put it over the top.
Monica's D in the endzone over that SG dude with 6 inches on her was super awesome. Especially as Kyle had called it, yelling at her to go get the disk back after a turn.
Favorite plays:
Pat: the huck to me, one foot shorter and Kilmer D’s it, one foot longer and I’m OB.
Steve: His entire game versus Richards.
Eric: it’s getting normal, but he had a catch in the SG comeback where I said out loud “damn, he got overthrown.” Then he kept jogging and caught it at head height. I hope it shows up on video, but some defenders give up on him about 20 feet away from the endzone.
Jeremy: his quote “see what happens when you let me play D”
Brent: picnic table dancing
Joe: nothing he does is good enough for me.
Kenji: Any one of the dozen times he perfectly timed an cut in on a swing throw and got a catch for 20 yards
Tony: layout to take the half against The Jets.
Clark: Never once raising his voice even as Richards fouled him 6 times in a row. He’s a cucumber.
Me: I touched the disc about four times all weekend, with 2 scores and 1 D. You all can even make me look like a decent player since you set me up so well.
John: Busting his ass as rabbit for about 90 straight seconds. Then when I called out to be ready to switch to man since he looks so tired, he hand blocks the next throw.
Su-Wen: The game winner catch with the big flair upswing.
Christine: several one handed catches in traffic. Especially the one to get us back in the game against SG.
Mimi: sorry it’s not ulty, but her killer putt was inspiring.
Allison: always taking on the toughest part of the zone and making us all better.
Laura: making the Jet’s zone look like they were running it ¾ speed at a practice.
Carmen: Defending every other woman into worthlessness.
Stef: big sideline 2 handed grab on a throw way over her head
Tova: the female Kenji, kept beating people on in cuts when every team was forcing her deep.
And my favorite of the whole weekend:
I went over to the line in between points during The Jets, and said “Hey, I love you guys”
Eric says “You say that like something bad is happening.”
Monica replies “Are you saying that because I’m dieing?”
